There is an abundance of excellent dining spots. Here are some of our favorites:

Aubergine

The German owner surprises you each time with wonderful, innovative food, presented in a very special way. Rather expensive, but worth every rand.

Bukhara

Great Indian food in a nicely decorated restaurant downtown. Try to get a table on the balcony!

Dale's Black Angus

This restaurant in the Paddock shopping mall in Milnerton offers delicious food at reasonable prices.

Moyo at Spier's

Special place outside of town for food and entertainment. Ideal for families. Great music in the evenings.

The Grill Steakhouse, Table View

A selection of meats and steaks that will make any vegetarian blush.

Boschendal (Winelands)

A must for the Sunday lunch buffet. Some guests try to fast before going. Reservations essential. Rather expensive.

Den Anker

Lovely restaurant in the Waterfront area. Belgium kitchen with wonderful French fries. Reasonable prices.

Maestro's

Close to the guesthouse, just across the wooden bridge, on Woodbridge Island. You can easily walk there. Spectacular view and good food. Reasonable prices.

Baia, Waterfront

Best seafood in town. The prawns from Mozambique are the size of your arm. Special setting. Expensive.

Signal

Exclusive restaurant at the Cape Grace Hotel, with wonderful food. Expensive.

Lanzerac, Stellenbosch

Restaurant in a very stylish wine estate; very good food and wines. Expensive.

Groote Post, Darling Hills

This is a wine farm where you can taste and buy wine, but you can also get a great lunch served at Hilda's Kitchen in a beautiful Cape Dutch-style house. Reasonable prices.

Panama Jack's

Located in the harbour. An old harbour tavern, with longstanding history, simple, with an excellent cuisine and much selection. Seafood platter, meats. Reasonable prices.

Chef

Italian Restaurant, with Italian specialties and wines, as well as Italian personnel. Very good. Expensive.

South Pole

Sunset Beach, about 3 km from the guesthouse. New, small and stylish restaurant with remarkably good, innovative food. Ask us for reserving a table for you.

Meloncino

Great Italian restaurant at Waterfront. Wonderful view and very good food. Try their pizza!

Blowfish

Great restaurant not far from the guesthouse. On the sea. Sushi and seafood.

Nobu

And now we have the famous Nobu at One & Only. Yes, we went there. Expensive, but very special.

Dragon Garden

Nice, typical Chinese restaurant in Table View, not far from the guesthouse. Very good Chinese food, also dim sum. Very reasonable prices.
